Had a bit of a hiccup on my website, but its back up after a minor restore.
Its always funny that you always need your backups after you start to think that you’ve never used them.
HTC Evo reboot problem

Had an issue with my HTC Evo 4G for the last few weeks. Looks like I caught the dreaded reboot bug whenever my phone decided it would attempt to access the network and GPS at the same time. It would go into a psychotic reboot loop that made me feel like skipping my phone across the parking lot of the Sprint store.
Customer support told me I had to go up the Sprint store and see if that group of rejects could fix the problem. After a couple of visits where my phone decided it would play ‘possum I finally had my phone go into one of those reboot loops and walked into the store while my phone repeated made that stupid noise it makes when it reboots. The wiped my phone back to factory fresh and sent me out the door. After a few days it kept happening and when I had another loop happened and I walked in with the exact same problem they finally reset my phone again and decided to be nice and order a new phone.
Sometimes I think corporate America thinks we are all as stupid as the lowest among us.
Time to get healthy and well (inside and out)

For the majority of my life I’ve judged myself based on how other people see myself and I’m only been comfortable if either people liked me or didn’t notice me at all. I’ve decided that I’ve got to change all of those behaviors.
I’ve decided that in addition to finding a new job (the company I worked at for three(3) years went bankrupt and was purchased by another company) I also need to make sure that I make myself unaccustomed to being comfortable. Being comfortable is usually about the most insecure thing that a person can do in life.
Time to get out my comfort zone. (This should be interesting…)
Got HTC Evo & Google Voice this week

Its been a good technology week for me. I ordered a HTC Evo 4G this week and it showed up the next day. My request for Google Voice came cruising into my email inbox the next day after that.
Google must have some type of notification that once you get hook into their clutches beyond critical mass they just start throwing “cookies” at you.
I actually got a Google Voice number that has the same last 4 digits as my cell phone. I might actually use it now.
Skiff Reader is starting to look like vaporware

The longer Hearst wastes time allowing their e-reader languish on the vine the more they make it seem as though it actually is vaporware. The logic behind allowing all the rumors and news posts generate without a pricing structure or release date for any of their products the more or looks like they were yanking our chain without an actual way to release their product to the market.
Trying an In-Town Vacation for my birthday….

Never really like celebrating my birthday so I decided to try something a bit different.
I usually jump on Amtrak and head down to New Orleans, but I decided to explore my own city for a weekend. Doing to whole hotel and everything.
Kind of serves as a bit of a mental help break before another week at work (if its still there).

Yeah… I know I’m talking about myself. Basically I just watched a video from some mental midget geek talk about how leftists were…. well… He didn’t know. He just rambled like Sarah Palin on speed for about five (5) minutes about how leftist were being leftist and getting with other leftists to do leftists stuff…
All I can recommend is choking on your own tongue when something that stupid comes out of your mouth… Go back to school and figure out what you’re talking about before the green poo that you’re spewing chokes you and we “citizens” have to kick out into the gutter with the other trash…
Stupid people make me want to hit them really, really hard…
I think I’m going to need alcohol or some other “anger management therapy” now…

Apparently I need a place to get things out of my head so they won’t rattle around, as Lewis Black describes it, until I have a stroke. Some things just need to be extricated from enclosed spaces like the cranium.
What is Cholesterol?

Interesting article about cholesterol. I find it very curious though that they recommend a startling amount of processed foods. They even make most of it sound as though it would be healthy. They would even recommend “Liquid or tub margarines” as though they were healthy in any way, shape or form.
